Honey biscuits


– 150 g flour
– 50 g sugar
– 1 large egg
– 3 tbsp honey
– 2 tbsp oil
– 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/4 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1/8 tsp salt


Add the sugar and oil to a bowl and mix until they are combined. Then beat in the egg, honey and vanilla. Mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together in a separate bowl. Then carefully add the sugar mixture and stir everything together well. Once the dough is firm, cover it and leave it in the fridge for two hours.

Now you can make your biscuits! A dessert spoon will help you make all your biscuits the right size. Arrange them on a greased baking sheet and bake them at 180°C for 8-10 minutes, until they turn golden brown. Allow them to cool for a minute or two and voila! Tip: Drizzle a little bit more honey over the top just before serving.
