Indian vegetarian lentil curry

In my kitchen cupboard, there are always jars and packets there It’s a doing that have been longer than the rest. shame if I don’t end up anything with them. So I came up with a few simple but tasty recipes



  • About 300 g lentils
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 shallots
  • 3 tomatoes, in pieces
  • 500 g pumpkin
  • 300 ml coconut milk
  • lime
  • 2 tbsp tikka masala curry paste
  • 2 pieces of naan bread
  • coriander


Fry the shallots and the garlic in a pan with some oil. Add the tikka masala and allow this to cook too until it starts to release its fragrance. Then the coconut milk can be added, to simmer gently with all the vegetables and the lentils. For about a quarter of an hour. In the meantime, heat the naan up in a toaster, grill or oven. Serve the curry with the naan bread, sprinkle some coriander over the top and serve with a quarter lime.
