Lemon trifle dessert

To serve 4

– 2 lemons
– 500 g whipped cream
– 500 g lemon quark
– 1 l lemonade
– 2 fairy cakes
– fresh mint


Clean one lemon thoroughly and zest it. Mix the zest through the lemon quark. Cut the other lemon into slices.

Break the fairy cakes up into small pieces. Add the pieces of cake to a bowl and pour the lemonade over the top. Leave to stand for a little while, so that the flavour of the lemonade really soaks into the sponge.

Add two large spoons of lemon quark to a pretty dessert bowl. Then add a spoonful of cake pieces followed by another layer of lemon quark. Now spread two spoons of whipped cream over this and arrange a few slices of lemon on top. Finish with a sprig or two of mint.
