Strawberry jam



– 950 g strawberries
– 1 kg jam sugar
– juice of 1 lemon


Collect a few glass jars with lids that fit tightly. Hull the strawberries. Wash them carefully and leave them to dry. Add all the strawberries to a big pan and mix the jam sugar and the lemon juice through the fruit. Bring the jam to the boil, stirring constantly and allow it to bubble away for 4 minutes. Transfer the jam to the jars using a ladel. Seal the pots straight away and leave them top down on a tea towel for 5 minutes.
