This Nepalese paper is made from the bark of the Lokta plant, which grows in the Himalayas. The branches regenerate, so no plants need to be cut down. The making of Lokta paper is an ancient tradition: it is handmade and sun-dried. The controlled harvest of the Lokta ensures a sustainable and environmentally friendly paper production process. Sustainable, acid-free, tree-free, and recyclable!
