Our Nepalese paper is made from the bark of the Lokta plant that grows in the Himalayas. The branches grow back, so no more plants need to be pruned. Making Lokta paper is a very old tradition, it is made by hand and dried in the sun. The controlled harvesting of the Lokta ensures a sustainable and eco-friendly paper-making process. Sustainable, acid-free, tree-free and recyclable!
