Mosaic plant pots

Brightening up your garden this summer? These mosaic pots are perfect for that! Plus, it’s a super fun craft project. It’s also great to do with kids, but be careful with the shards as they can be sharp. It’s wise to wear gloves.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • An old pot
  • Tiles
  • Buttons
  • Tile glue
  • Grout
  • A sponge
  • Oasis foam
  • Flowers
  • A hammer
  • Pliers

You can use shells and other objects as decorations too.

This is how you make mosaic plant pots

Start by breaking the tiles into small pieces. You will need a hammer to break the tiles, or you could use a pair of pliers. Watch out for the sharp edges. It’s best to wrap the tile in a towel before breaking it up.

Then cover the pot with tile glue and arrange the tile pieces. Finish with grout and then wipe with a damp sponge.

Add a piece of oasis foam to the pot and push in some pretty flowers. You can also try putting a little vase inside the pot, or filling it with soil and a small plant.

Love, Daphne
