Mieke Verhagen – Makes leather bags

I would like to introduce my creative friend: Mieke Verhagen.

Mieke has been handcrafting leather pouches and large bags for 3 years. She designs them herself, and occasionally she receives special requests, such as making a bag from an old leather jacket of a deceased person. Mieke receives the leather as a donation from a furniture factory, and all proceeds go to a good cause and a daycare center for children with disabilities. They go there once a year and personally hand over the money. She also holds workshops where people can make a pouch in just one evening.
