Step 1

Cut out leaf shapes from the pages. You’ll need at least 100 of them. Vary the pages you use—so it’s also great to use pages that are partly blank or completely white.

Step 2

Fold it in half lengthwise to create a “crease.”

Step 3

Cut out the ring from the cardboard onto which you will glue the leaves.

Step 4

First, cover the entire ring with leaves. Then, create the next layers, working your way further and further inward. At the end, you can stick a few leaves here and there in between for a playful effect.
