What You Need
Serves 6:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 onion
- 15g fresh dill
- 15g fresh chives
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 450g peas
- 8 eggs
- 250g Greek yoghurt
- 100g grated mild cheese
How to Make Savoury Tart with Egg and Peas
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Boil four of the eggs until hard-boiled, then let them cool.
- Finely chop the onion, chives, and dill.
- Line a greased tart tin with the puff pastry.
- Sauté the onion in a pan, then add the peas. Cook for 4 minutes and spread them over the tart base.
- Whisk the remaining four eggs with the yoghurt. Stir in the cheese, chives, and some salt and pepper, then pour into the tart tin.
- Peel the boiled eggs, cut them in half, and arrange them on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
Tip: Once cooled, garnish with some fresh parsley or dill for extra flavour.
