As the days get colder, I often look for different ways to keep myself warm. I’ve put together a list of five of my favorite hot drinks for you. I actually like them all just as much. Which drink do you like best?
Pink Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
– milk
– beet powder
– matcha powder

Heat the milk. Mix the beet powder with a small amount of hot water to form a paste. Add the milk to the beet powder and mix well. Sweeten the mixture to taste with honey or another sweetener. Add the matcha and mix everything together thoroughly. The result is a beautiful, creamy pink drink with a subtle, sweet flavor and an earthy undertone.

– turmeric
– ginger
– black pepper
– cinnamon
– nutmeg
– honey, maple syrup, or sugar
Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and any other spices you’d like. Stir everything well until everything is dissolved. Let the milk simmer for about 5–10 minutes, but don’t let it come to a boil. Add your preferred sweetener at the end of the preparation and stir well. Serve the tea warm, sprinkled with a little cinnamon or nutmeg for extra decoration if desired.

Heat the milk in a small saucepan and add the pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and sweetener. Stir well and heat the mixture until warm, but do not let it boil. Mix the coffee or espresso with the warm milk mixture. Pour the latte into a mug and top it with whipped cream. Sprinkle a little extra pumpkin spice on top.

Ginger Tea
Ingredients:
– fresh ginger
– honey
– lemon juice
– fresh mint leaves
Slice or grate the fresh ginger. Bring the water to a boil in a small pot. Add the ginger to the boiling water and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and add the mint leaves. Let it steep for a few minutes. Strain the tea to remove the ginger and mint leaves. Add the lemon juice and honey. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.

Indian Masala Chai thee
Ingredients:
– black tea
– cinnamon
– cardamom
– cloves
– black pepper
– ginger
– milk
– sugar
