Tips to keep cold feet warm

I never have a problem during the day, but at night in bed, I always have cold feet. I’ve looked for a few tips, and I hope they will help to keep cold feet warm.

Foot Bath

Take a foot bath and alternate between warm and cold water. Keep your feet in warm water for five minutes and then dip them in cold water for five seconds. Then put your feet back in the warm water for five more minutes. Repeat this a few times, alternating and finishing with cold water.

Diet

Warm feet start with your diet. If you suffer from cold feet, it’s best to avoid cold drinks. Instead, enjoy warm tea, or make an herbal tea with warming herbs like ginger, cinnamon, and rosemary. And eat warm soup in the evening (Here are my tips for a few delicious soups when you’re not feeling well). For an extra warming effect, add a bit more pepper. You could even take it in a thermos for lunch.

Wool

Wool is perfect for retaining warmth. It will definitely help keep your feet warm. It might not be practical for bedtime, but if you wear thick wool socks all evening, you’ll get into bed with warm feet.

Massage

Cold feet are related to circulation. By massaging your feet, you improve blood flow. Warm the oil for the massage and then massage your feet for about ten minutes before going to bed. The warm oil will help keep your feet nice and warm.
