American pancakes with jam


(for 12 pancakes)

• 155 g flour
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• 1 egg
• 225 ml milk
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 15 g melted butter
• oil
• fruits of the forest jam
• 50 g chocolate-coated nuts


Add the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar to a bowl and mix together well, Beat the egg with the milk in another bowl. Combine this with the flour mixture. Finally, add the butter and mix for a few minutes on the highest setting of the electric mixer.

Heat a dash of oil in a frying pan. For each pancake, pour about 50 ml of batter into the pan. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.

Chop the chocolate-coated nuts into small pieces. Serve the pancakes in a stack with the fruits of the forest jam and nuts on top.
