Heart-shaped Valentine’s pizza

Make a heart-shaped Valentine’s pizza

My mother always says you can make any dish better by adding a little love. That’s why I made this heart-shaped Valentine’s pizza. Pretty isn’t it?

Ingredients

• 75 ml warm water
• 125 g our
• 2 g yeast
• pinch of salt
• olive oil
• 1 tbsp tomato puree
• 7 slices of salami
• 4 mushrooms
• 1⁄4 red pepper
• 5 cherry tomatoes
• 10 mixed olives
• fresh basil
• 1⁄2 ball of mozzarella

How to make your heart-shaped Valentine’s pizza

First prepare the dough for the pizza. Add 25 ml of warm water to a bowl and stir the yeast into this. Combine the our and salt in another bowl and make a well in the middle. Pour the water and yeast into this. Mix everything together well. Then add the rest of the warm water and a dash of olive oil. Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky. Cover the bowl with a damp tea towel and allow the dough to rise for 45 minutes.

Then roll the ball of dough out on a work surface sprinkled with our. Make the dough into a heart shape. Ensure the dough is 4 mm thick.

Preheat the oven to 240 °C.

Now you can start to top the pizza. Sprinkle the dough with some olive oil and spread it with the tomato puree. Top the pizza with salami, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, cherry tomatoes and olives.

Bake the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes, until crispy. Garnish with some leaves of fresh basil.
